Planet 51 DVD failure

MessageAuthor

1st attempt to copy to HDD via anydvd and clonedvd resulted in successful process info to dvd file, but failed to create ISO to B drive at second step. Unable to open or find file. Forwarded to slysoft awaiting reply. Image burn with Anydvd and DVDFab 7 also failed to process and create ISO. Fourth attempt via anydvd and clonedvd to create ISO to C drive was successful as 7GB iso file and MDS is on C drive; however in an attempt to move it to via drag and drop or send to results in cannot find file. However can play it on VLC as an ISO file, so as you can see it is there but unable to do anything else with it. Must be new kind of restriction like DVD Digital copy rescritions. Haven't tried yet to create Video TS folder and convert to ISO in another step. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated while I try other procedures.

RE: Planet 51 DVD failure

Hi! Have you tried using Passkey (in combination with IMGBurn) instead of AnyDVD? (Completely EXIT AnyDVD when using Passkey)

Unfortuntatly Slysoft has been dancing a jig around the problem and/or can't resolve the problem. While at one time the premier of the dvd world with their three different programs, you could do pretty much anything you wanted, but now you can't get a straight answer from them or they don't have a clue.:( Passkey has now moved to the top of the list for their particular application.

Passkey is performing quite well, thanks again.:thanks: Going to give MKV a shot, just to see how it works and to get aquinted with it. All movies have been done in iso and Prodigi plays them back just great. Simple, but just what the daughter can utilize for her bedroom. Maybe premature, Still no response from Slysoft addressing the issue. Evan tho lifetime member, am uninstalling from desktop and putting in inactive folder.

RE: Planet 51 DVD failure

As of right now I am only aware of one person reporting an issue with the SD DVD release of Planet 51 in the Slysoft AnyDVD forum and that thread was created on March 26th. No logs have ever been posted. A number of new updates have been released in the meantime. Statistically, the fact that only one person that I am aware of has reported an issue causes me to take pause. I don't doubt that a problem is being encountered but if it was a protection issue then I'd expect to see more than one single thread with one single person having a problem in the AnyDVD forum.

They were provided a screenshot of the problem as they requested along with the details.

Sounds like, without coming out and saying so, "DrinkLyeAndDie" is speaking on behalf of the folks at SlySoft. Even if he/she is correct, it's hard to understand why they haven't responded, especially if you've provided what was requested - but took the trouble to post to this thread...

there is no planet 51 problem...OP states above he can rip it fine...OP has issues reading the ISO via drag and drop but supposedly VLC can play it. Sounds like a baked machine.
