S80 Grill Again

MessageAuthor

Is there an easy way of taking the S80 grill off? I want to paint it black, but still can't find any instructions that doesn't involve removing the front bumper bar. Additionally what have people used to paint the grill? I was thinking of actually cutting the metal bits off and then installing mesh in place?

I have managed to remove the grill, really quite easy. Thanks for the helps guys. What's the easiest way to remove the vertical bars of the grill? Would a dremel be called for here to remove the vertical bars? What I am intending to do is leave the chrome outer and then just replacing it with mesh. But to do this need to remove the vertical bars first and then fit the mesh properly.

Hi, Dremel will be the way to go, but exercise some caution as the cut verticals may leave a very thin section on the inner section on the grill. I would also recommend that maybe you leave a couple of verticals in place to maintain structure and rigidity. Des. . . ;)
