Wing mirror question

MessageAuthor

Hi I'm working through my list of things to get done before my driving test (saturday am). My passenger side wing mirror is faulty. The motor doesn't work, which I'm not worried about right now, that can wait till I can replace the whole thing next month. But, the mirror itself it really loose, it moves up when the door is slammed. :speechless-smiley-6 I want to find a way I can quickly and easily stabilise the thing, so that I dont have to ask the examiner to adjust my mirror before the test starts! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!:cyclops:

How about the judicial application of some 'Blue Tack'?

Thanks Niloc That is my plan, but for the moment, I've cleverly excreted some blutac behind the mirror. :) I have heard from another Volvo owner that there is a 940 sitting at a breakers yard over Stourton. Will be getting myself over there as soon as practically possible!:wink2:
