Had a small idea today for sends

When you drag from a track's IO button to another track, it assigns it to 1/2 -> by default. Fine, dandy, expected. But this makes no use of modifiers. If I were to hold alt, for e.g., could it then be assigned to 3/4 ? Would make side-chain setup even faster. Thanks! edit: this would be at any moment during the drag, I could either hold alt and drag or drag and then hold alt after. A cursor change might help here (such as the same cursor with AUX written beside it)

I like the idea but only a certain few plugins can use the sidechain/auxilliary input. The trick is to drag it from the i/o button to the plugin, rather than to the track. That will make the receiving track 4-channel and send to 3/4.

Just tried - that's the way it is. Didn't know this trick. Niiiiiiice.
